If you enjoy eating spectacular food at the fire barn, listening to rockin' music in the park, or just sitting back and watching the parade from the comforts of your front yard or on our new sidewalks, then Newark 4th of July is the place for you! Start your 4th of July weekend right and come to the Street Dance on July 3rd. This event includes live music, grilled food, dancing, and beverages. There's something for everyone at the street dance!
After an exciting night at the Street Dance, come out to the 4th of July Parade, that goes right through the heart of Newark. See the neighboring towns come together and show their spirit. Also maybe catch some candy if you're lucky. Then head over to the fire barn for some delicious pork chops and chicken from 5 B's Catering. Once your stomach is full, start walking around the downtown area and meet some new people, enjoy traditional Norwegian desserts, and maybe participate in water fights at the park.
We invite you to come to our small town and see how much love and fun we can offer you while you're here.
